Peace One Day

I feel like world peace is not possible because as hard as we try people around the world even someone right next to you has different opinions and they feel very strongly about those opinions. As hard as we try to find common grounds with people we can always find something to argue about. It would take one idea that everyone participates in and everyone feels strongly about. I could talk to the people around me and see what we have in common and see how many other people on a global scale have the same things in common. I would be willing to do a lot of things to try world peace but in the end it wouldn't work because someone out there will find a problem with it and than that will be the end of it. It could be possible for a period of time but it will eventually end.

a. How did the internet changed the life of Caine Monroy?
          The internet changed Caine's life  because by posting the same thing on a couple of websites they got hundreds of people came to his arcade but and before he has only had one customer 

b. What are the advantages and disadvantages of "being connected"? 
          The advantages are that you can spread information and ideas faster as well as being able to hear about events and the ideas/information from other people. The disadvantages can be that it takes up all your time and you begin to procrastinate the important things, or you stop connecting with the real world and you lose your people skills over time. 

c. How can you use the Internet to further your brand?
           I can use the internet to further my brand because I can spread my ideas on websites that many people visit and end up meeting new people because of it and we can share ideas whether different or alike.

Avi Rubin

Avi Rubin's video was alarming because I knew things could be hacked, but I didn't know that it could happen to a car or a heart defibrillator. Both of those things can kill a person. The cars brakes can be applied or disconnected cause the car to crash or be crashed into. Finding these things out was shocking  and it has made me more aware of what goes on without me even knowing it is happening.

In my opinion it shouldn't be ok to buy followers because if people like you than they'll follow you but if people don't than they wont follow you. By buying followers you can't see how many people like you or don't, you no longer have joy of seeing if people really like you. People can also consider this as cheating there are so many people out there who work hard for their followers and here you are buying followers that could be fake and you'll never know. Also buying followers is against the twitter rules.

This song has meaning to me because as little girl my family would go to a roller rink together. I was never very good at it but my older siblings would help me out. Eventually though my siblings got bored of it and we stopped going. But, every time we went to the rink this song would be playing in the background. Ever since than when ever we hear this song it brings us back to the “good ol’ days.”

During my first year of camp this song was sung at every campfire during those four weeks. Going to camp that year was the first time I had ever been away from my family for more than a week by myself. While, I was away it also helped me because it is in the movie Shrek and that is one of my father’s favorite movies.

We would just be in the car singing as loud and off tune as we could together not worrying about anything in those few minutes together.

In June 2012 I had an opening number to this song it was really touching because it was the last year that I danced with my sister and Kayla. After the show all of the seniors were crying together because it hit them that this was the last time they would most likely ever dance together. Even though they had three competitions left that month.

When I was about 7 or 8 my sister and I entered our first competition season together. This was the song of our first duet together. We went through three different dance choreographers before we finally finished our dance. We both ended up getting special judge awards for our facial expressions especially our smiles.

This soundtrack represents me because for at least 9 years I had been apart of IBC the International Ballet Company in Westin, Florida. Every December we put on a production of the Nutcracker. The ballet company has been a huge part of my life. There is no specific song on this CD that could be selected they all have to be included. 

My Artifact

This was chosen as my artifact because I have always wanted a family heirloom and my parents got me this because they know how much it would mean to me. My parents got it for me on my birthday about two years ago. Since then I have put my own special meaning to it. The heart represents a locket and is for all of the people who I love in life. The little butterfly is for those who have passed away and "flown" to heaven. Hopefully over the next couple of years I will be able to get an actual family heirloom that can be passed down because this is something that I will keep and cherish for myself because I have given it a special meaning that not many people will understand.
